A Delightful Antique Italian Floral Ornament, Carved And Gilded Wood, 1800's

This is a delightful antique Italian floral ornament that dates from the early 19th century. Discovered recently in Brescia, Italy [in October 2023] this gorgeous adorment is a larger fragment that is entirely hand carved from wood and gilded. It is in the form of a stunning double ribbon holding lilies and a sunflower. It is in lovely antique condition with a wonderful timeworn patina that in my opinion only brings forward its true beauty and splendour today. Such items are exceptional when placed above large frames, doors etc or simply displayed on a book shelf or a flat surface. This romantic treasure is exactly as I discovered it.
