A Fabulous And Extremely Rare Antique German Writing Hand, Brass, 1800's

This is a truly fabulous and extremely rare antique German writing hand that dates from the 19th century. Created with exceptional artistic crafsmanship this sculpturale treasure is made of brass and possibly bronze [the hand]. The cuff can be opened in order to access two ink wells within. This masterpiece was most certainly comissioned as a writing desk accessory and it would look magnificent today if displayed on a pile of books for example. Its sculptural and curious quality is just exquisite - enhanced even further in my opinion by the gorgeous patina created by the passage of time. It is in lovely antique condition with minor signs of ageing mainly seen in its wonderful patina. One of the ink wells which is made of glass has a minute chip. It measures about 9.5 x 26.5 x 11.5 cm or approximately 3.7 x 10.4 x 4.5 inches and it is exactly as I discovered it. For the full condition please refer to the images!
