A Marvellous And Extremely Rare German Baroque Horse, Wood Carving, 1700's

This is an absolutely marvellous and extremely rare German Baroque horse that dates from the late 18th century. Discovered recently this fabulous antique statue of a white horse is hand carved from wood and painted. The horse is adorned by a colourful saddle with tassels and it measures about 34 x 34 x 11 cm or approximately 13.3 x 13.3 x 4.3 inches. What makes it even more amazing today in my opinion is its stunning timeworn patina that brings so much unique appeal and splendour today. It is exactly as I discovered it. In my listings I have another horse that was discovered in the same place in Germany. That one is black and both make a great pair if needed for a symetrical display as shown on the last two images.
