An Ancient Italian Painting Of Jesus, Oil On Walnut Wood, 1600's

This is an ancient antique Italian painting of Jesus that dates from the 17th century or earlier. It is a fascinating depiction of Christ that is painted in oil on walnut wood. Discovered recently in Tuscanty it  measures about 33 x 20.5 x 2.5 cm or approximately 13 x 8 x 1 inches with signs of ageing that in my opinion only brings forth its true spledour today.
