A Fabulous And Extremely Rare, Large Baroque Wall Sconce With Hearts, 1700's

This is a truly fabulous and extremely rare Baroque wall sconce that dates from the 18th century. Originating from Germany this exceptional antique treasure is created from brass that still radiates with magnificent gold, embossed with sacred hearts. The sconce has two "branches" or candle holders. Such items are exquisite when displayed above a fireplace for example or placed in a darker part of an interior in order to bring more light [from the golden shine of the brass]. The sconce measures about 75 x 39 x 7 cm or 29.5 x 15.3 x 2.7 inches and it is in lovely antique condition -considering its age - with minor signs of ageing which in my opinion only brings forward its true beauty and splendour today.
