A Fabulous Antique Italian Bowl, Hand Carved Marble From Venice, 1700's

This is an absolutely fabulous antique Italian marble bowl that was discovered recently in Venice. Dating from the 18th century this handsome treasure is hand carved from a block of marble in soft cream/sand tones. Such items were used in the past in kitchens and in pharmacies as mortars, as well as in churches as water fonts. The bowl measures about 35 x 35 x 16 cm or approximately 13.7 x 13.7 x 6.2 inches and it is in lovely antique condition considering its age. Today it could be used as a unique table centerpiece, on a kitchen counter as well as outside, for example in the garden. It is exactly as I discovered it together with a remarkable collection of other marble treasures from Venice. For the full condition please refer to the images!
