A Magnificent Antique Italian Bronze Urn, A Grand Tour Warwick Vase, 1800’s

1 300,00 €Price

This magnificent bronze urn was discovered recently in the South of France. It originates from the 1880’s Italy and it is known as the Warwick Vase, created as an extravagant souvenir for keepsake of ones trip [the Grand Tour]. Its exquisite design is based on the ancient Roman marble urn with Bacchic ornaments that was discovered at Hadrian Villa, Tivoli in the 18th century. This is an opulent antique treasure of high quality and captivating presence that would look just outstanding when displayed on its own. It could also hold other decorative items as well as plants if desired. It measures about 22 x 30 x 22 cm or approximately 8.6 x 11.8 x 8.6 inches and it is in great antique condition with minor signs of ageing that in my opinion only brings forward its true beauty and splendour today. It is exactly as I discovered it. For the full condition please refer to the images!
