A Gorgeous Antique French Agnus Dei Or The Lamb Of God, Bronze, 1800's

This is an absolutely gorgeous and rare antique French Agnus Dei of the Lamb of God that dates from the 19th century. Discovered recently this precious treasure is created as a bronze plaque that was once most certainly the adornment of a tabernacle door. The most poignant little lamb is positioned on a cross that rests on the book with seven seals. Behind are clouds, representing Heaven. It measures about 18 x 13 cm or approximately 7 x 5.1 inches and it is exactly as I discovered it in lovely antique condition with minor signs of ageing. It is truly a wonderful work of art of exceptional beauty and meaning. For the full condition please refer to the images!
