A Magnificent And Extremely Rare Antique Austrian Processional Crown, 1800's

This is a magnificent and extremely rare antique Austrian Crown that dates from the late 19th or early 20th century. The crown is hand made with exceptional silver wire work and adorned with faded blush pink fabric flowers. Such crowns were used in the past during holiday processions to embellish Virgin Mary statues. This is a highly decorative and breathtakingly beautiful treasure that is just outstanding in its appearance. It measures about 20 x 22 x 22 cm or approximately 7.8 x 8.6 x 8.6 inches and it is in lovely antique condition, slightly timeworn yet fabulous in so many ways.
