A Majestic And Extremely Rare Pair Of Antique French Wood Carvings, 1700’s

This is a truly majestic and extremely rare pair of antique French decorative rosettes that date from the 18th century. They are entirely hand carved from wood with a gloriously timeworn patina in natural shades. Once they were a part of an elaborate interior with wood panelling. Each carving measures about 26 x 20 x 6 cm or approximately 10.2 x 7.8 x 2.3 inches and they are in lovely distressed antique condition with signs of ageing that in my opinion only brings forth their true beauty and splendour today.
