A Majestic And Extremely Rare Set Of Four Antique French Wood Carvings, 1700’s

This is a truly majestic and extremely rare set of four antique French decorative rosettes that date from the 18th century. They are entirely hand carved from wood with a gloriously timeworn patina in natural shades. Once they were a part of an elaborate interior ceiling. Each rosette measures about 26 x 20 x 6 cm or approximately 10.2 x 7.8 x 2.3 inches and they are in lovely distressed antique condition with signs of ageing that in my opinion only brings forward their true beauty and splendour today. These are highly decorative treasures that could be shown in many creative ways. They are exactly as I discovered them in the South of France. For the full condition please refer to the images!
