A Pair Of Exceptional And Extremely Rare Antique Ottoman Shoes, 1800's

This is a pair of exceptional and one of a kind antique Ottoman shoes that dates from the early 19th century or older. They are made of blue velvet that is embellished with exquisite goldwork embroidery,  remarkable in its captivating splendour as well as the craftsmanship that went into its creation. The shoes were found recently in Avignon in the South of France together with their wooden shoe trees that only enhance their unique decorative appeal. Slightly faded and timeworn, this outstanding treasure speaks of a glorious past and a true opulence like no other. They are exactly as I discovered them.
