A Pair of Majestic And Rare Venetian Renaissance Lions, Carved Marble, 1400's

This is a pair of truly majestic and extremely rare antique Italian lions that date from the 15th century. They belong to the Venetian Renaissance period, known as the hight of Italian art and culture. The lions are hand carved from white marble with a great artistic quality and craftsmanship. Their patina created through five centuries is quite remarkable. In my opinion this only enhances their true precious beauty and splendour today. Each one measures about 22.5 x 40.5 x 16.5 cm or approximately 8.8 x 16 x 6.4 inches and they are sold as the pair. Such items are extremeley hard to come across these days. They would look exquisite in any stylish and unique interior as well as a in garden if desired. They are exactly as I discovered them recently. For the full condition please refer to the images!
