A Pair Of Stunning Italian Candleholders With An Exquisite Patina, Wood, 1800's

This is a pair of stunning Italian candleholders that come from Tuscany in Italy. They originate from the  late 1700's or early 19th century and are hand carved from wood and painted in a black and white pattern. Through the passage of time an exquisite timeworn patina has been created that gives them a magnificent appeal today. Carved in the shape of urns with handles and steel spikes, each one measures about 40 x 22 x 17 cm or approximately 15.7 x 8.6 x 6.7 inches. They are in lovely antique condition with signs of ageing that is mainly seen in its captivating distressed patina. They are exactly as I discovered them recently.
