A Precious Antique French Santo's Crown, Crown Of Mary, 1850's

This precious treasure comes from my own collection of antique French santo's crowns assembled over two decades. It dates from the mid 19th century and once it was used to adorn a devotional statue, most probably of the Virgin Mary. It is created from a multitude of stunning purple and clear crystals set in an ornate and intricate metal framework. The crown measures about 5 x 9.5 x 8 cm or approximately 1.9 x 3.7 x 3.1 inches. The diameter is adjustable. The crown is in great antique condition and it is exactly as I discovered it with minor signs of ageing which is understandable considering its delicate nature and age.
