A Precious Antique Italian Santo With Silver Sacred Heart And Seven Swords

This is a precious and rare antique Italian santo that dates from the mid 19th century. Discovered recently in Naples this stunning santo was found with an exquisite silver Sacred Heart with seven swords that can be pinned to its chest. The santo's head, hands and feet are created from terracotta, while the eyes are made of glass. The body is constructed from threads and ropes on a strong wire frame. This allows it to be placed in a desired position [standing, sitting, etc]. I personally display these santos on my book shelves but they could be shown anywhere, on their own or in combination with other decorative items. The figure measures about 33 x 10.5 x 6 cm cm or approximately 13 x 4 x 2.3 inches when standing. She is exactly as I discovered it in a lovely antique condition. Only a small finger is missing on the right hand which is hardly noticable. For the full condition please refer to the images!
