A Precious French Painting Of St John the Baptist With The Lamb Of God, 1700's

This is a precious antique French painting of Saint John the Baptist with the Lamb of God that dates from the second part of the 18th century. This is an oil painting on a wood panel that is wonderful in so many ways. The painting bears the signs of time which in my opinion only enhance  its true beauty and captivating appeal today. It measures about 34 x 24 cm or approximately 13.3 x 9.4 inches and it is exactly as I discovered it recently. For the full condition please refer to the images!
