A Precious Pair Of Italian Vases With Mythical Figures, Hand Sculpted Terracotta

This is a pair of precious Italian vases, hand sculpted from terracotta that date from the early 1900's or the late 19th century. Discovered recently in Rome, this wonderful pair is exquisite in its artistic quality and captivating and imaginative form. Playful angels, gods, goddesses and many children are depicted in an exceptional relief that gived these vases a mesmerising appeal. They are in lovely antique condition with signs of ageing mainly seen in a lovely patina created by the passage of time. There are a few minute chips that hardly take away any of their true beauty and splendour today. On the bottom they bear sign of their maker. They are exactly as I discovered them.
