A Stunning And Extremely Rare And Large Antique French Silver Halo, 1800's

This is an absolutely stunning and extremely rare antique French halo that dates from the mid 19th century. It is created from solid silver with five stars and placed on a steel ring. It measures about 44 cm or approximately 17.3 inches in diameter so it could be used today even as a decorative wreath if desired. Once it was most certainly the crowning part of a devotional statue of the Virgin Mary. It is in lovely antique condition with minor signs of ageing which is understandable considering its age and exactly as I discovered it. For the full condition please refer to the images.
