A Stunning And Extremely Rare Large Antique French Silver Pendant, 1800's

This is an absolutely stunning and extremely rare antique French silver frame pendant that dates from the second half of the 19th century. Made masterfully from silver, the oval shape frame is designed with an abundance of gorgeous flowers that swirl around a circular "window" with glass. This part can hold a photo, a print, or a tiny work of art. This one was discovered with an image of Jesus holding a child, suggesting that perhaps it was gifted for the birth of a baby. The back is covered with a French flag fabric [red, white and blue]. It measures about 7 x 11 cm or approximatelly 2.7 x 4.3 inches and it is meant to be hung with a decorative ribbon. This way it could be used as an interior decorative piece or as an elaborate jewellery pendant if desired. It is in lovely antique condition with minor signs of ageing and exactly as I discovered it.
