A Stunning Antique French Folding Fireplace Screen, Art Nouveau Peacock, 1880's

Discovered on my latest trip to France is this stunning antique French fireplace screen. It was created during the second half of the 19th century, the French Art Nouveau period. It is a magnificent folding screen in the shape of a peacock tail. Delicately crafted from gilded bronze and brass this gorgeous treasure is exquisite in its artistic quality and design. When open it measures about 60 x 87 x 17 cm or approximately 23.6 x 34.2 x 6.6 inches. It is in lovely antique condition and exactly as I discovered it recently in Montpellier.
