A Stunning Antique Italian Display Stand For A Wall, Gilded Wood, 1700's

This is a stunning and rare antique Italian wall display stand that was discovered recently in Tuscany. It is hand carved from wood with an elegant design consisting of the ever magnificent acanthus. The carving is water gilded with 24 carat gold leaf that after several centuries still radiates with majestic luminence. Measuring about 24.5 x 28 x 10.7 cm or aproximately 9.6 x 11 x 4.2 inches and dating from the late 18th century this gorgeous pedestal can be easyly mounted on a wall in order to hold a precious work of art, an orchid or any other desired treasures. It is in lovely antique condition, with a wonderful patina and with minor signs of ageing which in my opinion only brings forth its true beauty and splendour today. It is exactly as I discovered it.
