A Stunning Antique Spanish Silver Santo's Crown With A Halo, 1800's

This is a stunning antique Spanish crown with a halo that dates from the early 19th century. Magnificent in its opulent beauty and made of silver this remarkable treasure adorned once a devotional statue of the Virgin Mary. The halo that is positioned behind the crown consists of the rays of light coming out of clouds with 12 stars, one for each month of the year. It measures about 20 x 22 x 8 cm or approximately 7.8 x 8.6 x 3.1 inches and it is in lovely antique condition with minor signs of ageing expected for the items of this period.
