A Stunning Antique French Olive Tree Wreath, Gilded Wood Carving, 1800's

This is an absolutely stunning antique French gilded wood carving in the form of a wreath made of olive tree branches. This is a highly decorative and elegant treasure that originates from the French Empire period at the beginning of the 19th century. The carving measures about 38.5 x 18.5 x 6 cm or approximately 15.1 x 7.2 x 2.3 inches and it is in lovely antique condition with signs of ageing seeing in wonderful patina created by the passage of time. It is exactly as I discovered it recently in Avignon in the South of France. For the full condition please refer to the images!
