A Stunning And Large Antique French Gilded Wood Carving, 1800's

This as an absolutely stunning and rare antique French treasure that was discovered in the South of France. It is a gilded wood carving that is exquisite in its playful design and captivating beauty with flowers, birds, dolphins and sea shells. Once it was most probably a pediment of a grand mirror or a frame. The carving measures about 43 x 64 x 7.5 xm or approximately 17 x 25.2 x 2.9 inches and it is in lovely antique condition with some signs of ageing that in my opinion only brings forward its true beauty and splendour today.
