Adorable Antique French Cupid Painting On A Wood Board, 1894

This is an absolutely gorgeous antique French painting of a cupid with a bow and arrow that dates from the 1894. Discovered recently in the South of France, this adorable work of art is an oil painting on an oval wood board with a few inscriptions on the back, including the date. The wood panel measures about 59 x 46 cm or approximately 23.2 x 18.1 inches and it is in lovely antique condition with some signs of ageing that in my opinion only brings forward its true beauty and splendour today. This is a highly decorative and romantic treasure that is exactly as I discovered it in Avignon. For the full condition please refer to the images!
