An Exceptional Antique French White Marble Urn, Hand Carved Planter, 1700's

This is an exceptional antique French urn that is hand carved from a single block of a white marble. Its masterfully done carving is outstanding with elegant and classic lines that are exquisite in so many ways. Dating from the 18th century this exceptional treasure was once proudly displayed in an opulent garden or a conservatory and was discovered with another such urn - as shown in the last image of this listing - in Uzes in the South of France. This is a remarkable treasure measuring about 30 x 40 x 30 cm or approximately 12 x 15.7 x 12 inches and it is in lovely antique condition with signs of ageing mainly seen in a magnificent timeworn patina that in my opinion only brings forth its true beauty and splendour today. Such treasures are stunning when displayed in a stylish interior as well as outside in the garden for example. It is exactly as I discovered it. For the full condition please refer to the images!
