An Exceptional, Large And Extremely Rare German Ex Voto, IHS, 1700's

This is an exceptional and extremely rare antique German Ex Voto that dates from the second half of the 18th century. Discovered recently in Munich, this large votive measures about 33 x 28 cm or approximately 13 x 11 inches. It is made of silver plated copper with a sacred heart, rays of light, roses and the initials IHS denoting to Jesus Christ. This is a remarkable antique treasure that is in lovely antique condition with a stunning timeworn patina that in my opinion only brings forth its true beauty and meaning today.
