An Exquisite Antique Austrian Framed Oil Painting of A Nymph, Late 1700's

This is an absolutely exquisite and extremely rare antique Austrian oil painting on canvas that originate from the late 18th century. Discovered recently in Vienna - from a private collection - this highly romantic masterpiece depicts a nymph resting in an enchanted forest. in Greek mythology, a nymph is a female divinity, usually associated with fertile, growing things, such as trees, or with water. The painting is an oil on canvas that is still in great antique condition. Recently it was strenghtened with a new canvas on its back for longevity. The painting is still in its original gilded wood frame that bears some signs of ageing which in my opinion only enhance its true beauty and splendour today. It is exactly as I discovered it.
