An Exquisite Antique French Marble Sculpture Of A Baby's Arm, 1800's

This is an exquisite and extremely rare antique French marble sculpture of a baby's arm that dates from the 19th century. It is a one of a kind sculptural artwork that is hand carved from white Carrara marble with exceptional  artistic quality and masterful craftsmanship. The tender features of a baby - captured in this remarkable treasure - in one arm are just phenomenal in my opinion and breathtakingly beautiful. The sculpture measures about 23 x 11 x 9 cm or approximately 9 x 4.3 x 3.5 inches and it is in great antique condition [with minute signs of ageing] which is truly amazing considering its age. The marble is signed with the artist's name "Malot" , including also the name of the French town (Bettencourt/Somme) where it was created. It is exactly as I discovered it.
