An Outstanding And Rare Antique French Bronze Relief, 1800's

This is an outstanding and extremely rare antique French bronze relief that originates from the second half of the 19th century. Created during the French Art Nouveau period [around the 1880's] this precious work of art depicts the Greek Goddess Hygieia, the protector of health. She is always accompagnied by a serpent which is a symbolic representation of healing. Created magnificently with a great artistic quality the bronze measures about 19 x 15 cm or approximately 7.4 x 6 inches. On the back is a little hook so that it could be displayed on a wall if desired. In great antique condition and exactly as I discovered it. For the full condition please refer to the images!
