A Gorgeous Antique French Perfume Bottle Set, 1800's

This is an absolutely gorgeous and rare antique French perfume bottle set that dates from the 1800’s. Such precious treasures were created in the past as souvenirs and this one comes from Granville, a seaside resort in Normandy. Its delicately made case - from mother of pearl and brass - with an ornate base opens by a gentle push of the top handle, revealing a pair of stunning crystal glass miniature perfume bottles. The bottles are held in place with two little crowns and have brass lids that open. When closed [as shown on the last image of this listing] the case measures about 13 x 5 x 5 cm or approximately 5.4 x 2 x 2 inches. It is in lovely antique condition with minor signs of ageing that in my opinion only brings forward its true beauty and splendour today. It is exactly as I discovered it in August of 2021 in the South of France. For the full condition please refer to the images!
