Italian dream

Recently my dear friend Jennifer, made a video about my new home in Italy for her YouTube channel Salve Salento. This is a rare opportunity to see me in front of the camera as I usually prefer to stay in the background 😊

A few years ago I discovered an extraordinary Italian palazzo in Puglia, Southern Italy, that had been abondoned decades ago. However it was love at first sight as I could see the great potential of this majestic building and decided to bring it back to life. It took more than a year to do the full restauration and refurbishment - at times a painful process - yet worth all the headaches and sleepless nights. This is already my tenth building that I re-designed. The architectural foundations of the palazzo with its 5 metre high vaulted ceilings and perfect proportions were all the inspiration that I needed. It quickly became apparent to me that the main area should become an elegant gallery as well as a relaxing, sunny and glorious space. Minimalism is the name of the game 😊

In this video you will have a glimpse into the living area on the ground level. There is one more floor with bedrooms, bathrooms and my office as well as the roof terrace and balconies which I will show at a later stage. I hope you like it as much as I do. Alla prossima!
